4th Westmeath Moate Scout Group Takes Part in St. Patrick’s Day Parade
This year marked a special milestone for 4th Westmeath Moate Scout Group, as we proudly took part in the Moate St. Patrick’s Day Parade for the very first time.
Our Beavers, Cubs and leaders represented the group with great enthusiasm, marching through the town with our new group banner, alongside the Scouting Ireland flag, the Westmeath flag, and a number of Irish flags.

It was a fantastic occasion and a proud day for everyone involved. Taking part in such an important community celebration gave our young members a real sense of belonging and pride in their group and their locality.

We would like to thank the organisers of the parade and the local community for such a warm welcome on the day. We look forward to continuing to grow as a group and to taking part in many more community events in the years ahead.
A big thanks to Terry O’Neill for taking these photos for our group!
