Moate Scout Group is delighted to announce that we are seeking community nominations for the AIB Community 2026.

As a newly established Scout Group, we are currently in the early stages of building a strong and sustainable programme for young people in Moate and the surrounding area. At present, we run Beavers (ages 6–8) and Cubs (ages 9–11), and we are actively preparing to launch our Scout section (ages 12–15) in September 2026.

Scouting plays a vital role in developing confidence, independence, teamwork, and leadership skills in young people. As a growing group, support from initiatives such as the AIB Community Fund would make a significant difference to our development.

If successful, funding would directly support:

• Essential camping and outdoor equipment for youth programmes
• Hall rental and running costs
• Training and development for volunteer leaders
• The establishment of our new Scout section
