Since our launch in October 2025, 4th Westmeath Moate Scout Group has successfully established both Beaver and Cub Scout sections, providing young people in our community with opportunities for adventure, learning, and personal development.

As we look ahead to September 2026, we are excited to expand further by opening a Scout Section. To support this growth, we are now recruiting Adult Volunteer Leaders (18+).

Volunteering with Scouts offers a hugely enriching experience. It provides opportunities to:

• Develop valuable life and leadership skills
• Contribute meaningfully to your local community
• Support and mentor young people
• Take part in fun, challenging, and rewarding activities

Through Scouting Ireland, volunteers play a vital role in supporting over 35,000 young people across Ireland.
